HISTOGRAPHY:
A child was born on 9th march 1986 in the city of Iqbal Sialkot city. Her mother gave birth to the first and only baby son in his family and after consulting to various scholars named him MUHAMMED WAQAS ALI. Then he shifted to Abu Dhabi along with his family where he grew up and completed his higher education.

DISCOGRAPHY:
His sister gifted an acoustic guitar on his birthday when he was only 8 years old due to the passion and love of music which she feels since his early childhood. The passion started to develops more and he loves to sing and copy the classical songs of USTAD NUSRAT FATEH ALI KHAN and USTAD AMANAT ALI KHAN. Later on he shifted to Pakistan for the completion of his higher education and completed ACCA. Waqas on his 20th birthday he organized a musical party where one of his friend named BILAL FAROOQ offered him as a lead vocals in his band after listening to the performance and amazing vocal quality and singing skills.
RAAZ KA RAAZ:
BILAL FAROOQ was the lyricist and rhythm guitarist of RAAZ THE BAND and has worked with many of the famous artists of Pakistan Music industry who later on left BILAL after stealing his lyrics and compositions. Bilal wants to present His message to the youth and peoples who respects for love and peace with his feelings of music. He chooses Waqas Ali for expressing his thoughts. Bilal is the RAAZ which means secret of this band who does not strives for fame but wants to show Waqas as his shadow face in front of the screen play.
OBJECTIVE AND AIM:
As JUNOON was the only pure rock band in Pakistan but no one has laid the concept of mixing soft rock tunes with progressive metal and hard rock distortions with trio. So introducing first time in Pakistan real metal distortions with live drum sessions with the mix of soft tunes.
PASSION:
As there is no availability of such high fidelity recording facilities in Sialkot City where a bandist can record live jam metal session but it is the hard work and dedication which gave birth to extraordinary music which is represented in the music of RAAZ.

Hello.
I have a few questions.
1- How to mix soft rock tunes with progressive metal & hard rock?
2- Junoon was a sufi rock band! they never did progressive metal & hard rock.. and you think they did? go listen to junoon again!
3- What is a Metal Guitarist? is it something new you guys have invented? or what?

a metal guitar is something u can say o electric guitar but its play is quite more different as compared to electric guitar as the guitarist has to play in high speed with a tremolo play.soft rock tunes has been mixed up with sufi music and classical but live not live metal and distortions . in pakistan there is a concept of recording drum sessions by preplayed beats in a studio but raaz has laid down the concept of american high fedility based distortions and live drum sessions
as compared to janoon has never focused on metal mix with soft rock they have mixed electirc guitar in a classical touch with sufi music but raaz laid down the concept of mixing live metal sessions with distortions

I am really sorry but it seems that you dont know much about the current Pakistani Music Scene.
First of all there is no such thing as Metal Guitarist. its just about the talent of your bands guitarist the same guitarist can play pop on that guitar too! and for information tremolo and shredding is also a part of Rock Music. So yes think about it again.
Soft Rock Tunes cant be mixed with Metal as Metal is a totally different thing! its more hard, fast & aggressive theres no space for Soft Rock in it.
Alot of Pakistani bands have done Live Drums in their albums Junoon, Noori & Jal are a few to name here. Gumby did his first Live Session for junoon more than 10 years back. you need to learn more about this thing. Oh and i didnt noticed any “Rock” music or “Metal Music” in your song.

mr shahzad i think u just know how to critisize on the upcuming band but didnt had the guts for making a good music . do u know about the terminology behind metal no u didnt know thats y u didnt noticed any metal touch and u havnt noticed any live drum sessions so clear and with clear hormonics like raaz the band just think about it

over here boi! listen up i am a musician myself i am in a band we are in the scene since last 3 years done more than 70 gigs with most of the mainstream bands and dude i do know whats the difference between metal, rock & soft rock. the song you guys have release is just another jal/atif inspired thing with the same soft rock which is so called rock for you guys. I guess its better to change the introduction of your band rather than debating on something you cant prove. Go to some professional musician who is the scene for more than 4 years and ask him whats the genre of your song and your confusion will be cleared.
