LYRICS GO HERE:

Waqas:
People of the world!, ya yahaha hayyy, this is outlandmoro my baby
“They’re saying: average
born and raised outlandish
like we came down from another planet
God dam it
{These boys can stand it} *
Like ——————————————–
**
We’re gonna do it a time to shine then we calm
then we shine for real ——————–**
we rock all day cause
it makes us feel good
like we’re so fool
and we’re so hood
join us if you could
what could you loose
the beat is so sick
and carried out by this {hood}*”

Isam singing:
“now people open this mouth and say
I ain’t got nobody, you know this world
all I got is me, myself and I
well, watch me put my troubles
and my loves and my novels on the line”

Lenny singing the chorus:
“Rock all day,
X 8
it makes me feel good”

Lenny’s rap:
Spanish Don’t understand a shit **

Isam singing:
“Now people open this mouth again
the truth of the Almighty is
that He got the blues
see, if He had you to use this mouth
well He could have you with him other time”

Lenny singing the chorus:
“Rock all day,
X 8
it makes me feel good”

Isam rap:
“We do we go from here my baby
underground or across over maybe
left right left my way or the highway
bad —— ** let’s not worry about it
We do we go from here my baby
underground or across over maybe
left right left my way or the highway
bad —— ** whatever makes me feel good”

Lenny singing the chorus:
“Rock all day,
X 8
it makes me feel good”

Strike Update: Early next week holds the key

May 29, 2009

The industry has been agog with talk that the warring factions [producers/distributors - multiplexes] have reached a solution. The truth is, they haven’t. The two sides have been talking to each other on a regular basis [the dialogue never stopped], but they haven’t reached a consensus yet. A crucial meeting was held on Wednesday [May 27] at a suburban hotel and the producers/distributors have put forth their terms/demands. The multiplexes were conveyed through Amit Khanna and they [plexes] are supposed to get back, by early next week. So, Monday/Tuesday is the day when a clearer picture should emerge. That’s the latest on this front!

Raghav Sachar launches his music label

May 29, 2009

Raghav Sachar is out with his maiden single that also marks the launch of his music label Charming luttera is his maiden attempt at a single, a rarity on the Indian music scene, says Raghav Sachar, who is best known for playing 32 instruments (and growing!), composing and singing for Yash Raj Films’ Kabul Express and Eros International’s One Two Three, What is the song all about? “Well, honestly, I made the track for one of my forthcoming films. But since I had produced the track and it was a very interesting concept, I decided to make it my first single as I was long planning to launch my own music label, Raghav Sachar Music,” says the multi-faceted artiste.

“That has been my dream for a very long while.” Describing it as “commercial but classy” with very good lyrics by his buddy and consistent professional associate, lyricist Aditya Dhar, Raghav reveals that he has also acted in the video. “For the first time I have danced in my music video, which also shows my character playing poker. It’s a world music number. The video is directed by Harshal and Vitthal.” In keeping with market trends, Raghav says that he saw no point in coming out with a physical single or CD and has opted for a soft (digital) release. “But my marketing treatment is the same as if it was a CD release, with a music video, promotions on radio and so on.”

Raghav wants to “just popularise the song” and allow free downloads (”which is very practical as no one pays to download because so many sites for free downloads in India,”) but will generate revenues from digital websites, caller-back tunes and ring-tones. “Maybe I will start charging nominal rates later,” he says. The musician is also doing well on the film front. He is scoring music for Indra Kumar’s Daddy Cool, a comedy that stars Suniel Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani and others and also for Vikram Bhatt’s Phirr. “I also feature in one song,” says Raghav. He is also making his debut as a lead actor in Kabir Sadanand’s Tum Milo To Sahi opposite Anjana Sukhani. Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia, Suniel Shetty and Vidya Malavade co-star. “There are two songs filmed on me and I have composed both. The remaining songs are composed by Sandesh Shandilya.” Screen India

If You INCEST… Here’s truth: Adhyanan isn’t cheating on Kangana

If You INCEST… Here`s truth: Adhyanan isn`t cheating on KanganaBy Subhash K Jha

Stories about the breakup with Kangana Ranaut have Adhyayan Suman going red with anger and indignation. Some suggest it’s all a publicity gimmick to support the Bhatts’ on-release film Jashn which stars Adhayayan and Shahana.

But Mahesh Bhatt scoffs at the very idea. “I find the idea that Vishesh Films started the rumours amusing. Because the move would be counter-productive to our film.

Adhyayan and Shahana play brother and sister in Jashn. And since it’s not about incest how would the link- up help our film?”

Fumes Adhyayan “These rumours seem to be centered on Jashn. Earlier I was linked with Anjana Sukhani and now Shahana who’s a pal.I don’t know whose idea of good publicity for Jashn this is. But it’s digusting.

Shahana is a pal. There’s nothing more to to our friendship.

I’ve a girlfriend. Kangana is very beautiful in her heart, and physically. I am not the kind of guy who has affairs on the side.”

So where do these rumours come from?

“Search me!” shrugs Adhyayan. “I’d never blame the Bhatts. Mahesh Bhatt Saab is like a father. He has taught me so much.”

But the young actor does find it strange that rumours regarding Kangana and him floated during the release of the Bhatts’ Raaz 2 earlier, and now when Jashn is around the corner.

He also admits it’s true that Shahana was ‘banned’ by the co-directors Raksha Mistry and Hasnain Hyderbadwala from the sets of Jashn although she plays a pivotal part in the film.

Says Adhyayan, “I protested on her behalf. You can’t do this to her when she’s the film’s female lead. Bhatt Saab had to intervene to allow Shahana to come on the sets as and when she liked.”

Ram Gopal Varma and Gul Panag at war?

May 28, 2009

wallpapers If trouble makers had their way; the sets of Rann could well have become a ‘ranbhoomi’ of sorts for Gul Panag and Ram Gopal Varma to indulge into some verbal and possibly electronic battle. Reason? A few days back, Gul received a comment from Ram Gopal Varma on one of the blogs on her website. The comment was quite harsh and below the belt as Ramu apparently blasted Gul for the way she had written the blog, both structurally as well as thematically. “I was literally dumb founded as Ramu was otherwise so nice to me on the sets. I never expected him to express his outburst in such a manner and that too in a public forum. I read his comment not just once or twice but multiple times. However, it was difficult for me to get out of it for days at stretch”, reveals Gul who still shudders with the very remembrance of the comments that came her way.

Though she continued to shoot for Rann, at the back of her mind she always remembered the verbal thrashing that she received from her director. Moreover, to her surprise, Ramu seemed absolutely normal and business like while explaining scenes to her on the sets. “I was continuing to be quite upset though since I expected him to be a gentleman in his approach. I was in two minds to get back to my laptop and give him back by replying to him on the blog. I guess I have been quite prominent on the literary circuits and believe that I have a good command over the language. There was no way I was going to take anything like that lying down”, Gul goes back down the memory lane. However, enough was enough for Gul and instead of keying her thoughts on the blog, she decided to have a conversation with Ramu.

“I thought it would be in the best of everyone’s interest if we talk it out rather than getting into an electronic duel”, says Gul, “So I walked up to Ramu and asked him what he felt about my blog and what exactly did he mean by those comments that he posted. Imagine my horror though when it was his turn to be shocked now!” Why, what happened? “Well, he was completely ignorant about any such incident and stated that it wasn’t him who had posted a comment. I too got red faced but then pretty much relieved. As it turned out, it was some impostor who just wanted his silly moment of fun and attempted breaking a professional tie. It’s so stupid actually since he/she almost got me on the edge. But yes, now I too would be more careful about assessing a comment coming from a real v/s a fake contributor”, smiles Gul.
