The Dewarist is a new, Indian television series. Part music documentary and part travelogue, the show features some of the most inspiring musicians from distinctly different musical backgrounds, collaborating to create original music while traveling to beautiful locations across India.
The second episode of the first season of the show that premieres October 23 at 8pm on Star World will feature Pakistani pop duo Zeb and Haniya. They’ll be performing a new composition called ‘Kya Khayaal’ which will reflect the sounds and culture of the place they travelled to.
According to the official website, the song ‘Kya Khayaal’ is
Set against the frenetic pace of the city of Mumbai. This episode features a cross-border collaboration between Pakistani singer-songwriter duo Zeb & Haniya, and two veterans of Bollywood – composer Shantanu Moitra, and lyricist Swanand Kirkire.
The show aims to inspire audience to follow their dreams and do what they believe in.
